The Miracle Man repelled the late charge of True Destiny to record a game front-running success in the two-and-a-half mile handicap hurdle at Sligo.
Donagh Meyler made the running on the Arthur Moore-trained gelding and the 18/1 shot (33/1 this morning) was strongly pressed over the last.
The Workforce gelding pulled out all the stops in the closing stages to record a hard-fought three-parts-of-a-length success.
It was the winner's first outing since returning to Moore, having pulled up when last seen at Punchestown in June.
"I've trained for the Trappe family for a long time so I'm delighted to get another winner for them,” said Moore.
"We've had this horse since he was a foal and always liked him. He moved to Peter Fahey for a while but had a problem shortly after he got him. It wasn't Peter's fault but, anyway, Austin (Trappe) decided to send him back to us.
"He had a nice run at Fairyhouse a couple of years ago which I thought would give him a squeak in this. It was his first run of the winter, so you're never sure, but he had prepped well.
"He'll run away for the winter and will pay his way. It's nice to be back amongst the winners. We only have four to run at the moment."
