Moon Daisy took the nightcap in Dundalk for Donnacha O'Brien when staying on best under Paddy Harnett.
The 15/2 shot was called upon for her effort in the final quarter of a mile and edged left hampering Ben Siegel who was going for a gap between her and Uncharted
She moved to her left again coming to the final furlong and impeded Uncharted who bumped Bonte Moi
Moon Daisy was making progress all the while and hit the front inside the final furlong.
She saw the mile and a half trip out well to win by half a length at 15/2. Bright Idea the 4/1 favourite, was second, the same distance in front of Ben Siegel (at a very easy to back 11/1).
O'Brien said: “She's a tough filly and she stays well. She did well as she got hampered early on.
“I always thought she was well handicapped and she's starting to show that eventually.
“We know she can handle that surface now so we might keep her going for the winter and see what happens.”
Moon Daisy has now won three of her last five races.
