The BetVictor Maiden went along expected lines with favourite Ciao coming out on top in the sixth at Dundalk.
Blinkered for the first time Ciao (Robbie Colgan up) justified the confidence of those that backed her from 5/2 into 6/4.
In a first-time hood Bright Eyed tried her luck from the front but she eventually had to yield by two and a half lengths.
There was four and a quarter lengths then to Cj Cregg in third.
Winning trainer Gavin Cromwell said: "Blinkers on first-time because she wandered about a bit the last day. She was a bit unlucky the last day in a maiden when she just bumped into one and wandered about a bit and it cost her second place.
"We haven't got her very long and she is improving. She is doing well.
"I might potentially give her a little break and come back to the turf with her.
"Martin Hannan (the owner) is just outside Ashbourne, he is a Sligo man and they are the Sligo colours. It is his first winner in those colours.
"He is away skiing at the minute so he is watching online."
The Stewards received a report from Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter, Mr J.R. Banahan, that Andrew Kinirons, who attended the start with Pacific Fleet (USA), trained by Madeleine Tylicki, failed to comply with his instructions at the start.
Evidence was heard from the starter, trainer and authorised representative concerned. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards advised Ms. Tylicki and Mr. Kinirons of the requirement to comply with the instructions of the Starter as per Rule 13 (b).
