Moment shows strength in opener
Moment Of Weakness showed admirable battling qualities to get back up on the line in the opening juvenile maiden at Dundalk.
Jessica Harrington's charge had attempted to make all but looked booked for second when passed by Meow at the furlong pole.
The 5/4 favourite stayed on gamely in the closing stages, however, to just peg back the David Wachman newcomer at the death.
"I thought he was beat. Fran (Berry) said he was so idle and didn't see the other horse on his outside," said the trainer's husband and owner Johnny Harrington.
"He's so tough and his temperament is amazing. We'll upgrade him next time and he could go for the Marble Hill at the Guineas meeting."
