The Francis Flood trained Miss Xian (16/1) coasted home an easy winner of the Book Online At naasracecourse.com Handicap Chase at Naas today, scoring under a nicely judged ride from Mark Enright.
Enright had the daughter of Milan up with the pace throughout and the pair moved to the front before two out. On the run-in Enright was able to ease Miss Xian down for a 12 lengths win over Thelobstercatcher
Afterwards Fran Flood, son and assistant to the trainer, reported "it turned into a staying race, and her jumping held up well. She's been knocking on the door, and was a bit unlucky to fall at the last at Navan last time when she would have finished third or fourth.
"She loves the trip (three miles); other days she can be flat out early but she travelled better today."
