The John J Galvin Maiden Hurdle saw a game winner in the Lorna Casey trained Miss Mary Mac after she came home to the good by four lengths in the hands of Mikey O’Connor for owner Sean McNamara.

O’Connor produced the daughter of Dushyantor to lead after two out and stayed on well for an easy win over the fast finishing Bangonform from the Davy Fitzgerald stable.
