Misappropriation opened her account at the third time of asking when making most in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden at Dundalk.
Colin Keane soon got the Newtown Anner Stud Farm's homebred daughter of Mehmas to the front from a wide draw and proceeded to dictate matters from the front.
The 7/4 joint favourite faced a number of challengers but kept on well to hold off the fast-finishing newcomer Dancing Teapot by a head with Chocalho just a neck further back in third.
Winning trainer Ger Lyons’ brother and assistant Shane said: "They were pulling up either side of him (soon after the start), so Colin kept it uncomplicated.
"It is box ticked, got her maiden out of the way. We will get her home now and give her a holiday and see what the owners want to do.
"She was very good on the surface and showed a bit of speed there, so she could go back to six. We have options, we go six or seven next year.
"The most important thing for a filly like her is to get her bracket."
