Mills blows them away
Jagoes Mills continued his rise up the ranks when he landed the P2P Weekly In The Irish Racing Post On Wednesday Novice Chase by a convincing nine lengths.
The Davy Russell ridden winner and Becauseicouldntsee had this two mile five furlong contest between them from before the straight. The other big one in the market, Whatuthink was done with after a mistake at the fourth last. He was later found to be clinically abnormal.
Jagoes Mills led from two out and from there on he wasn't hard pressed to prevail.
Winning trainer, Thomas O'Leary said: "A winners of two or a Graded race will be next for him."
When asked whether he could he be a Power Gold Cup horse, the Cork handler commented: "Davy said he's very much turning into it.
"He'd want the ground no quicker than yielding for safety. He jumps great."
