Milan suprises at 25/1
The in-form Robert Tyner yard was on the mark in the Kill Maiden Hurdle at Naas today with One In A Milan who scored under stable jockey Philip Enright.
The son of Milan eventually moved clear of runner-up Glibin on the run-in to cause a 25/1 upset. Favourite Star Neuville weakened quickly early in the straight and trailing the main field home.
Afterwards Tyner’s wife Mary Tyner said “we’re having a lucky streak at the moment! We’ll see what One In A Milan gets rated now - I don’t know how good a race it was. He enjoyed the tough going and kept galloping. His owners, the One In A Milan Partnership are away on holidays!”
