Ten year old Mick The Boyo registered his third career win, and his second of the new year, when landing the Circle at Naas Racecourse Handicap Hurdle at Naas today, for trainer James Grace and jockey Trevor Ryan.
Ryan steered his first Irish winner on Mick The Boyo over today's course and distance on January 7 and while successful by just a neck then, had half a length to spare over fast-finishing runner-up Stowaway Forever today.
After the race Grace stated “he likes it here and there is a similar race back here in two weeks time so he'll probably come back for that.
“Trevor gave him a super ride, although funnily enough he pulled harder today than he did the last day."
Mick The Boyo's only other win prior to 2018 was gained at Cork in November 2016.
