Michael limbers up for Galway
Beau Michael appreciated the company of the Martin Tyrrell Auctioneers Handicap under in-form Shane Foley as he raced to a comprehensive six length success.
Ado McGuinness' charge disputed favouritism with Connyella but out on the track there was no doubt about his superiority as he led about five furlongs out and he stayed on well from over a furlong out to see off Frutti Tutti who was three parts of a length and a neck in front of Diyla and the aforementioned Connyella.
McGuinness commented: "Galway is the plan, for the amateur handicap on the Monday and he could run again on the Thursday in the two mile one furlong novice chase."
