Memoir has day to remember
Magical Memoir pulled away in good style to settle matters in the Tipperary Water Hurdle at Ballinrobe.
Jessica Harrington 's charge was sent off 6/5 favourite in the two mile event and shrugged off the challenge of market rival Scottish Boogie to land the spoils.
Barry Geraghty sent his mount for home after the second last and she started to motor turning for home, powering home for a four-length victory.
5/4 second choice Scottish Boogie just held on for second as 20/1 shot Boxer Beat pushed him close.
"She wants two-and-a-half miles," commented Geraghty as he walked in after the victory.
