McNamara/O'Grady strike at Down Royal
Killenaule Boy from the Edward O’Grady stable was handed the Mirror Handicap Chase with the exit of Frontier Lady at the last.
Andrew McNamara was hard at work on the son of Aflora before the last and was left in front after Frontier Lady crashed out and the pair kept on well to hold off Narquois by four and a half lengths.
Andrew McNamara winning jockey said: “I don’t know if we’d have beaten Frontier Lady. He seemed to enjoy the ground and he jumped well.”
