The J.P. McManus owned, Niall Madden trained Pass The Ball maintained his remarkable unbeaten recent record at Tipperary today, when completing a four-timer in the Riptide Movement 11th August Beginners Chase.
The son of Westerner, ridden by Madden’s son and namesake, was today following up his debut racecourse win at the same venue recently, which itself followed up recent point to point successes in May and June.
Afterwards Madden senior, recording his fourth win this month, said “he was really enjoying that and we’ll look for another chase next. Niall (son) said he thought they were only walking and that’s why he let him bowl along in front.”
