McCreery scores again
Former Kildare footballer Willie McCreery recorded his second winner as racehorse trainer when his Little Arrows landed the Madra Dog Foods EBF Maiden at Naas this evening.
Ridden by Willie Supple, the son of Danehill Dancer held the renewed challenge of runner-up Mrs Slocombe to win a short head.
McCreery, who played on the Kildare defeated by Galway in the 1998 All-Ireland football final, later reported "this is the first horse we broke and it´s my second winner. Six furlongs is as far as he stays at the moment but there are plenty of options for him in the Autumn."
