The Adrian McAllister trained Bien Chase gained a second career win, his second in as many months, when landing the concluding Floodlit Friday Racing 22nd Sept Handicap at Dundalk today.
Jockey Bill Lee steered the gelding to his maiden win at Fairyhouse in July and today Lee doubled the gelding’s score with a head win over Dandy Rock
McAllister, who took over the training of Bien Chase following the death of his previous trainer Lady Jane Gillespie this summer, today stated “I had him entered up in Galway but he didn't get in and I also had him entered up two or three other times.
“He works very well around here so I fancied him there. We'll see what's coming up in the next week and try and get him in again. Touch wood we might get another one.
“I'd be keen enough to keep him going during the winter but we'll see. We'll see what comes up in the next while and if there is nothing we'll give him a break.
