Maude Adams ran out a cosy winner of the ten furlong fillies handicap at Roscommon.
Sam James produced his mount to challenge at the furlong pole and she soon hit the front.
Kevin Prendergast 's charge was in control in the closing stages as James nursed her home for a comfortable length-and-a-quarter success over Sli Na Fiarana
The 9/1 winner (from 12/1) had run a decent race when fourth in a conditions event at Ballinrobe but had finished well down the field on her sole previous handicap start at Leopardstown.
"She stays a bit further than we thought and we might step her up now and see if she gets a mile-and-a-half," said Prendergast, who trains the filly for his wife Lesley.
"She's only small and she got pushed around a bit at Ballinrobe the last day."
