The 7/2 favourite Tokenomics came from the back of the field to take the three-year-old handicap under Luke McAteer.
Third at Leopardstown on his previous outing, the winner made steady progress down the near side of the pack in the straight and led inside the final furlong to beat Elegant Madame by a length.
Trainer David Marnane said: "First run in a handicap the last day, we dropped him in and the pace was minimal to say the least. To be fair, he quickened up really well. It is lucky we see the fractions and they were pretty good from just before the turn in to half a furlong from home.
"The drop back in trip didn't worry me and he's a very nice horse. I don't know how high he will go, but I'd say there is more left anyway.
"It was just the bottomless ground in Tipperary. He travelled and was cantering turning in, but just couldn't get out of that ground at all.
"Other than that, he has been very consistent all the way through.
"He's a lovely big (The) Grey Gatsby. He's a big, genuine horse - he's huge. I'd say that is one of the main things, I'd say he is so big we probably won't see the best of him until next year, but we are here and hopefully he can win a couple for us before we let him go at the end of the year.
"We had him in at Killarney just in case he absolutely bolted in. I think we'll leave him alone, but we'll see how he comes out of it. We'll plot away with him for the rest of the year."
