Trainer David Marnane and stable jockey Fergal Lynch combined for an opening races double at Dundalk this evening, when Eusepio doubled their tally in the [email protected] Median Auction Maiden.
Lynch, who encountered trouble in-running on Almadaa in the opener, had a trouble-free passage on Eusepio, making all for an easy five lengths win over Elusive Spring
Marnane was not present but Lynch stated “he (Eusepio) got a soft lead and I'd say the early fractions were fairly slow. I don't know what happened him the last day (well beaten when 4/6 favourite) as he was beaten three furlongs out – we'd no explanation for it.”
