There are a couple of major market movers in Clonmel today. Tango Theatre has contracted from as big as 25/1 to as short as 4/1 for the Cloneen Mares Handicap Hurdle over two miles at 3.51pm.
John McConnell 's charge was never a factor in rear of a Navan handicap hurdle when last seen in September. Afterwards, his jockey reported that he found the ground to quick.
On his penultimate start he was runner-up in a Downpatrick handicap hurdle, his best result to date.
In the next race on the card, the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden Hurdle over an extended two and a quarter miles, Mick Winters' newcomer Rebel Rascal has more than halved in price.
The five-year-old gelding is a half-brother to double Grade-One winning-hurdler Flooring Porter.
Patsy's Honour is a significant non runner. Winters' other debutant, River Vale, has also been scratched.
