A trio of horses have contracted at Sligo In early trading.
Tom Gibney's Mr Saxobeat is a short at 5/2 for the bumper at 5.25pm. He fell in a point-to-point in April, when with Conor O'Keeffe, but had made progress to track the leaders at the second last before departing.
Local trainer Mark McNiff's Red Ball Of Fire is a very solid favourite for the opening Killyhevlin Lakeside Hotel & Lodges Maiden Hurdle at 1.55pm. Call The Fairies has more than halved in price for the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Novice Handicap Hurdle at 3.05pm. Call Me Dolly is a market drifter in this race.
