Royal Rhythm has contracted sharply for the extended two and a quarter mile handicap hurdle in Ballinrobe at 6pm.
Philip Rothwell 's five-year-old gelding is as short as 7/2 from 16/1. On his last start, in a better class of race, he came home fourth in an opportunity handicap hurdle at Navan in March.
There are two notable non runners in this race - Punters Poet and Heliers Bay.
Five horses have been ruled out of the concluding mares' bumper at 7.30pm where Must Be Obeyed is a very solid 5/2 chance.
Tom Gibney 's mare was nearest at the finish when third in a maiden hurdle at Navan in March.
