Joseph O'Brien has the favourite for the Gra Chocolates Irish EBF Nursery Handicap at Galway today (4.15) in Goa Gajah but it is his apparent second-string Approaching Bear who is attracting support.
This Belardo colt races off 8st with Alan Persse's 7lb claim factored in. He has improved on each of his three runs culminating in a fourth place at Navan this month.
He trades around 9/1 from as big as 25/1 for this seven-furlong contest.
Goa Gajah is easy to back at 11/4 from 15/8.
Thunderbear, who ran yesterday, is a notable non runner.
