Marble is worth the wait
The Paul Nolan trained Marble Article under Andy Duff, made a winning debut in the concluding Barrow Mares Bumper (div 2) at Wexford this evening.
The seven year old daughter of Definite Article moved to the front under two furlongs out eventually recording a comfortable win over Ginger Genie
Afterwards Nolan was represented by his brother James Nolan who stated “Marble Article is owned and bred by Robert Hodgins who has been very patient with her as she was very hard to keep sound during the winter.”
“She is a seven year old so we couldn’t wait any longer to go for a bumper and Andrew (Duff) said she is a lot better than this. She jumps great and will be put away now until the autumn. When she returns, she’ll reappear at the good tracks.”
