Mantle wins the battle of the game fillies
Ubiquitous Mantle (nearside) comes to just 'do' Greanta at Leopardstown

Two game fillies wouldn't yield an inch at the conclusion of the www.leopardstown.com Nursery and on the line it was Ubiquitous Mantle that just out-pointed Greanta by a short head.
Alhaarth has often produced runners that handle plenty of dig in the ground and his daughter, Ubiquitous Mantle, with Colin Keane up, got through the testing conditions well to get up and pip Jim Bolger's bottom-weight Greanta – a winner at Cork a week ago.
Shane Lyons brother of winning trainer Ger commented: "She's game and she's an out and out stayer. She acted on the ground which we didn't know beforehand.
"Next year she'll want a mile and a half.
"She's been game out all season and she still has her summer coat.
"We're trying our hardest to keep giving Colin (now four behind Conor King in the race to be champion apprentice) winners but we're running out of ammunition." (GC & EM)
