Malina Girl made the most of a lovely gap between horses to land the mares' bumper in Wexford.
Jamie Codd sent her through the gap and into the lead racing to the final quarter of a mile and he had a willing partner.
She got first run on her rivals and closed the race out in the final furlong.
The 2/1 shot (in first-time cheekpieces) beat 6/4 favourite Via Rosa by a length and three parts. pour The Wine was half a length off Via Rosa in third at 10/1.
Gavin Cromwell said: "She just goes asleep in the middle of her races but she stays well. She ran a bit flat at Cork on her second start and then didn't get a run at Killarney in a muddly race.
"She was due to win and it's great that she did. I'll have a chat with the lads and I wouldn't rule out going for a winners bumper with her, but she will probably go for a maiden hurdle, we will see. She will be kept on the go now."
