The well-bred Star Magnolia got her career off to the best possible start when taking the Lucky Dip Has Landed At BetVictor Fillies Maiden at Dundalk.
The daughter of Kingman is a half-sister to Zarinsk who has been a great servant to the same connections winning five times including at Group 2 level last year.
The odds-on Mayfair set the pace but was headed by Ger Lyons’ charge about a furlong out and the 5/1 shot kept on really well under Colin Keane to beat that rival by a length.
The pair pulled nearly four lengths clear of Super Sox in third.
Keane said, "It was a lovely performance. She has a lovely pedigree, obviously being related to Zarinsk. If she can be half as good as her we'll be happy.
“She couldn't have made a better start. Aidan's filly had a couple of good runs and I think our filly can only improve. Hopefully it's onwards and upwards with her.”
