Madden & O'Shea in the wars at Naas
Niall 'Slippers' Madden got a bad fall from Bella Mana Mou in the Lucan Racing Leinster National Handicap Steeplechase and he has been taken to hospital for observation.
Madden received lacerations to the back of his head and he was knocked out for a while. The Grand National winning rider also suffered a suspected broken right arm.
Mick Cullen 's mare Bella Mana Mou fell at the third fence and she badly hampered her stable companion Would You Do That
Niki O'Shea also got a very heavy fall in the maiden hurdle. He was taken to hospital with concussion.
