Lynch keeps the faith with Fath
Jockey Andrew Lynch, who has missed most of this season through injury, completed a double at Fairyhouse today, when partnering the Peter Casey trained Clonsilla Fath to win the SolheimCupMeath.ie Handicap Hurdle.
Lynch moved the son of Fath to the front at the second last flight before staying on well to defeat Miss Nomer by two and a quarter lengths.
Afterwards Casey stated “Clonsilla Fath’s form was there, with his runs at The Curragh and Galway, but his is a surprising horse and seems to be getting better. Where he goes now I don’t know but he wants good ground.”
Today’s wins were jockey Lynch’s first two this season.
