Lynch doubles his score on Tornado
Andrew Lynch completed a double at Galway when getting One Cool Tornado home the three length winner of the Easyfix Rubber Products Novice Hurdle.
This son of Golden Tornado clearly has the right attitude and stays well as he overhauled Imperial Shabra on the run-in to go on and score by a convincing three lengths at the line.
Paul Gilligan trains the 11/4 shot for the Kings & Rovers Syndicate from County Offaly and he said: "He is improving and he is tough. He is learning his trade and could turn out again tomorrow. There is no reason why not if he pulls out sound in the morning."
The well-backed favourite Liss Na Tintri was in trouble from a long way out and she pulled up before two out.
Lynch had earlier won on Kilmurry for Henry de Bromhead.
