Lucky Spring loves it at Sligo
Course specialist Lucky Spring gained his fourth win at Sligo when taking the two mile two furlong handicap hurdle at 13/2 by a comfortable seven lengths from 5/2 favourite Ferris Bueller
This was the eight-year-old gelding's seventh career win and trainer Pat Martin was quick to praise his winning jockey.
"Bryan (Cooper) gave him a lovely ride. He used to run very free. The main thing is to get him relaxed which Bryan did.
"I might look at a two mile flat handicap next as he is well handicapped on the flat." Tico stayed on from off the pace to grab third place at 8/1.
