Heavily backed Loving A Boom (4/7f) made all to gain a deserved first success at Fairyhouse this evening as the Gordon Elliott trained, Declan McDonogh partnered gelding landed the Fairyhouse For Fundraisers Maiden.
Stallion Acclamation was responsible for both Loving A Boom and the earlier and opening race winner Cava with Loving A Boom bouncing out smartly before making all for a three lengths win over National Glory
Loving A Boom had previously filled second place on each of his four races and after today's success, Elliott said “he was entitled to win it on his few runs, and he appreciated a bit of nicer ground.
“Chris said he just didn’t get home over a bit longer at Sligo the last day. I had him about three weeks before he ran in Sligo.”
