Lordan sweet on Plum
The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden went to the Tommy Stack trained Plum Sugar after she came home in front under the guidance of Wayne Lordan.
Lordan produced the daughter Footprintsinthesand to lead from under two furlongs out and stayed on well for a length and a quarter win over 9/4 favourite Awe Inspiring
Winning jockey Lordan stated afterwards: “She is a very good filly and she works very well at home.”
“He ran very well at Leopardstown first time out in a very good maiden and she showed how good she is this evening. We will probably step her up next year.”
