Wayne Lordan guided John McConnell's Spanish Dawn (9/1) from last to first in Division One of the extended mile and a quarter handicap.
The four-year-old filly made progress two furlong from home and continued her headway to hit the front inside the final 150 yards.
She took the honours by a length and a half from 4/1 favourite Queluz Escallonia was half a length further back in third at 5/1 from 7s.
John McConnell said: “She deserved that as she’s run a couple of nice races.
"She’s very hard on herself and that’s why she’s tucked in but when she does things right she’s got ability and is very genuine. If she dropped the bit she could be a very nice filly.
“I’m delighted for the owner (Pamela White) who is very enthusiastic."
