The Gordon Elliott trained Gigginstown House Stud owned Lord Scoundrel maintained his unbeaten record over fences at Galway today when readily justifying 8/13 favouritism to win the Sanserv Rated Novice Chase, under jockey Bryan Cooper.
The son of Presenting went clear of his rivals after jumping the final fence and eventually scored an easy eight lengths win over Waaheb
Elliott wasn't present but Cooper later commented "he has turned inside-out since going over fences and that is what he was bred to do. He was a bit careful today but is actually better going left-handed.
"He'll be in the 130s now and will have to step up to Graded company but he'll pay his way."
