Lord Kenmare wins again
Lord Kenmare from the Michael Halford stable followed up on his recent win here on Sunday after he landed dvision one of the Ardpatrick Handicap under Shane Foley in the colours of Brian Gallivan.
Winning trainer Halford stated afterwards: “He did it nicely, we had to run him. We were very lucky he got in as a reserve on Sunday and he only got in today because they divided the race.”
“It took us two years to win a race with him and now we’re after winning two races in three days. He went up ten pounds but only had 5 pounds for today. They went good and fast today so there was no problem in dropping him to 7f.”
“We will probably come back here again unless the ground starts drying out.”
