Trainer Ellmarie Holden continued her excellent recent run when landing the Follow Us On Twitter Rated Novice Hurdle at Cork today with her mother Catherine Holden’s Look Closer ridden by Rachael Blackmore.
The daughter of Danehill Dancer was kept wide for much of the way and in the end held on for a three parts of a length win over Little Folke
Afterwards Holden, who was recording her fourth winner this week, stated “the ground was over-watered for him so she (Blackmore) kept him out wide - that as the plan from the get-go.
“She gave him a super ride, he might have missed one or two and we’ve no plan from here but he might go back to the flat, that’s an option. The horses and Rachael are on fire at the moment!”
