Long-priced Lashes causes shock in Ballygallon Stakes
25/1 shot Long Lashes trained by Jessica Harrington ran out the easy winner of the Listed Ballygallon Stakes at The Curragh.
A delighted Harrington said afterwards: 'We knew she was smart and after her work Companion Miracle Match won on Wednesday we thought we had a good chance here, but I was worried about the soft ground. Fran (Berry) says we should run her in the Moyglare Stud Stakes, but she is not entered and we will now have to consider supplementing her.'
The syndicate which owns Long Lashes includes Ritchie Galway of Punchestown racecourse, Gillian Walsh (wife of Ruby) and David Cox husband of HRI's Tamso Doyle.
