Joe Murphy's yard is back operating at full tilt in recent times and the trainer gained his fourth success in three weeks, at Gowran today as Littlevix gained her own first career win under jockey Gary Halpin, in the Join Gowran Park Racing Club Handicap (div 1).
Murphy's team endured a virus-hit summer but his horses have returned to form recently and today Littlevix won on attempt number 13, as she gained an overdue first success.
Afterwards jockey Halpin said “she’s tough and consistent and she was due one. Her run in Roscommon was good enough to suggest she could win one of those, and Joe’s horses are coming back in form.”
