It wasn't any surprise to hear Denise 'Sneezy' Foster say, "she's very game â as tough as nails," after her Lily's Rainbow (8/1) got up to land the opening www.dundalkstadium.com Nursery Handicap under Wayne Lordan.
After outsider Moving On Up got the better of the favourite, Social Climber it looked like she might go on and prevail. However anyone of that view hadn't bargained for the toughness of Lily's Rainbow and she got there to triumph by a neck.
"Wayne got it perfect tonight. He rode her much handier before and he said he wouldn't do it that way again," explained Mrs Foster.
"That's my first two-year-old and Wayne said she'll get a mile and quarter no problem." (AM & EM)
