Lee in the fast Lane
Six Silver Lane was produced with a strong surge to claim the Carers Evening at Clonmel Handicap.
Billy Lee tracked the leaders on the Aussie Rules gelding before asking his mount to challenge front-runner Be My Storm as they left the two furlong pole behind.
Joanna Morgan 's charge hit the front with over a fulong to run and stayed on strongly in the closing stages to post a length-and-a-half success.
Be My Storm kept on for second while well-backed favourite Kastania (15/8 from 4/1 in the morning) was held in third.
The winner is owned by Ladbrokes PR representative Hayley O'Connor.
"He's an improving horse and wants fast ground," said Morgan. "He's been schooled and jumps like a buck."
