Lee Valley Legacy bounced back from pulling-up on her latest start when returning to winning ways in the TRI Equestrian Handicap Hurdle at Leopardstown today, to credit 7lbs claiming jockey Paddy O'Hanlon with a sixth career win.
The daughter of Kalanisi was a New Year's Day winner at Fairyhouse before pulling up at Limerick on January 30.
Today she returned to form and while eventual runner-up Cherif De L'isle travelled better from the second last flight, Lee Valley Legacy produced a much stronger finishing effort when shaking off that rival for an easy-at-the-line 13 lengths win.
Afterwards McLoughlin said “Paddy said she kept going the best, from the back of the third last she kept picking up and galloped to the line.
“She's a grand little filly with a light weight on her back. He said she got through the ground well and it was straight forward.
“She's after winning twice this year and she's a hardy little one. We'll see what happens now.”
