Leahy's Gra for Geal continues
Co Limerick trainer Austin Leahy recorded his fifth winner of the season when his Gra Geal Mo Chroi under Emmet McNamara, ran out the comfortable two and a half lengths winner of the Tallis & Co Construction Handicap at Tipperary today.
McNamara produced the daughter of Imperial Ballet to lead three furlongs from home, eventually stretching clear of her 15 rivals for an easy win.
Afterwards Leahy mentioned “Gra Geal Mo Chroi is a nice filly and loves soft ground. She will be entered to run at Listowel later next week.”
