Lead Kindly Light is a cracker
Andrew Leigh gets on well with Lead Kindly

The only surprise about Lead Kindly Light s hack around in the Costa Coffee Dock Handicap Chase was her price of 11/2 but she shrugged aside an apparent lack of market confidence in great style under Andrew Leigh at Fairyhouse.
The handicapper may have tried to halt the Beneficial mare with a 13Ib hike in the ratings for a Naas romp a fortnight back but after getting a waiting ride from Leigh here, she was produced in the straight travelling all over her rivals. She went on at the last before beating the well-backed Yeoman by five lengths.
Sean Byrne trains Lead Kindly Light for his wife Breda and he said: "I thought the ground wouldn't be a help but she flew in.
"The fences here aren't small but she's a great jumper. I always knew she was a right mare and she might be even better on better ground."
