Launchpad aiming for better things
Fairyhouse is the target for Launchpad after he ran out an impressive winner of the Moycarkey Hurdle at Thurles today.
Davy Russell tracked the leader Aimn Spartacus on the 4/5 shot before taking up the running turning for home.
Dessie Hughes' charge scooted clear after the second last, in the Gigginstown colours, and came home an easy six-length victor over One For Joules
"He's in at Aintree but Fairyhouse might do instead," said Hughes afterwards.
"He could go for a winners of one beforehand although he doesn't need much more experience.
"He jumped well today. He might be good enough to win at Fairyhouse."
