Latham wins aboard Solent Ridge
Solent Ridge from the Ger Lyons stable carried top weight to take the Fishery Lane Handicap under Keagan Latham.
Latham who was never too far off the pace took up the lead from over a furlong out and kept on well for a three and a half length win over The Hamptons
Winning trainer Lyons said afterwards: “It was long overdue, his form suggested he could win here.”
“Ideally he’s a seven furlong horse but he’s come back to his form well.”
“I’m delighted for the owner Chris Dineen, he’s from Cork and it’s his first time to see the horse run so it was great for him.”
