The ground is yielding on the straight course and good, good to yielding in places on the round course at the Curragh ahead of today’s eight race card beginning at 2.00pm.

2/1 favourite Santiago gave Aidan O’Brien a fourteenth , and Seamie Heffernan a fourth, win in yesterday’s highlight, and they team up with the favourite Magical in today’s feature, the Alwasmiyah Pretty Polly Stakes which goes to post at 4.45 pm.

Limerick (Flat) and Kilbeggan race tomorrow, with eight races at both venues.

At the former it’s good ground after 11mm of rain in the last 24 hours.

A mainly dry day is forecast for today, with a risk of light showers tomorrow prior to racing, which begins at 1.10 pm.
