Last Instalment wins for sponsor
The Philip Fenton trained last Instalment ran out an impressive winner of the Gigginstown House Stud Point To Point Championship Flat race in the colours of the race sponsor Michael O'Leary.
The winner, backed from 8/1 this morning, ended up the 7/4 favourite and stormed clear in the home straight to win by 27 lengths.
Philip Fenton said afterwards: "He is a beautiful horse, a real chaser and he jumps particularly well. He was just as impressive when he won his Point to Point in November. We will put him away now and bring him back next season for a spell over hurdles, but chasing will be his game."
"Dunguib is in great form, absolutely bouncing. We have two options for Punchestown and are not ruling out the Champion Hurdle on the Friday. It is not as strong a race as you might expect so we will have a close look at it before making a decision."
