Lass proves Flynn spot-on
Pat Flynn was proved correct in the aftermath of Edmondstown Lass Killarney success by stating that she'd win again after getting her head in front there and the follow-up success was achieved in the Harvest Racing At Sligo Handicap.
Danny Grant 's mount overcame the scare of veering to her left inside the final furlong but once back on an even-keel she went on to see off the veteran Bricks And Porter (having his first start for Ado McGuinness) by a length and a half.
Gerry Flannery, the winning owner, also bred the five-year-old daughter of Imperial Ballet and he is from Ballaghaderreen in County Roscommon. Distant Times a morning price gamble from 33s into 8s, returned a ten, could only manage seventh.
