Lagostovegas made it an accross the card treble for Willie Mullins as she added to his Kilbeggan gains with Whiteout and Sayar by taking the feature at Killarney, the Grade B At The Races Handicap Hurdle under Ruby Walsh.
The Footstepsinthesand mare was winning her third race at Killarney and she soon raced in third in the two mile one furlong event.
Fourth after the fifth, favourite Lagostovegas travelled well to lead narrowly before two out where she took a bump.
The John Donohue-owned five-year-old soon asserted, and though not fluent at the last, she kept on well to defeat Top Othe Ra by two and three parts of a length.
"Her Galway form gave her a great chance and it looked like she didn't get home with Danny (Mullins, jockey) in the good handicap on the Saturday," said Walsh.
"Dropping back in trip on a flatter track seemed to suit her."
